I am considering buying some custom hotstamp chips from BCC and I was wondering if they charge an artwork fee if I decide to expand my chipset somewhere down the road. I can't see why they would since it doesn't make sence for them to throw away the stamp dye, but I just wanted to make sure it was a onetime fee per design. Thanks.

If, by "expand," you mean adding new denoms, I believe they will charge you for each new denom. If you just intend to add chips to your original denoms, I think you're fine. Also, I believe they will actually send the dye to you if you want it. It is your's after all. If you don't want to run the risk of losing it (cuz then you would pay again), they will keep it for you.
