Chips: 179 | | | WSOP Replica help Alright, here's the issue...I am trying to make a decision between the two WSOP Replica's out right now. I was looking at the Mr. Chip's replica and then happen to come across ABC's replica. I was hoping to get some of your thoughts and opinions on quality, coloring, feel, sound, etc.
Please help!
Oh yeah, and I'm pretty sure I want textured...I have some Bellagio's and love the textured feel on them, but I'm open to discussion on smooth as well...pictures are welcome!
Thanks,
smitty

IMO of course. |

Mr. Chip's colors were much richer. They were more true to the actuals, however the edgespots on the black chips (100, 10000) looked very cloudy. The face/labels were also more accurate. The chips were very slick, even though they were textured. There was some bleeding on the edgespots, however ordering the aligned edgespots would eliminate a lot of that. The chips are also a lot shinier.
The abc's colors are much brighter. Even though they are not as true to the real colors, the printing is much sharper. This is especially noticeable on the black chips. Their textured chips are not slick, making them a little tougher to shuffle, but easier to stack.
[edit] The Mr. Chip replicas have a more "clinky" sound than the abc, which sound more like a "clack" [/edit] |

I have a sample set from Mr. Chips, but am still waiting on ABC to get back to me about ordering some samples from them. The ones that I have are textured, but still slick, at least more slick than the textured Bellagio's I have and I'm wondering why because I understood they were the same ceramic?!
I was just hoping to get some more expert opinions from those that have them. |

Chips: 296 | | | Re: WSOP Replica help I got some custom wsop chips from Mr chips. I got the same 10k and 1k but just changed the colors for the 25k and 5k. I also changed the text to World Poker Series as opposed to world stars of poker. The chips are very nice and I never had a problem with stacking or anything. I was able to stack 40 high without a problem, even with people hitting the table. I havent felt or seen abc's but mine are textured and were before they locked in the right colors for the official group buy. I have some pictures if you like to see them? |
