I'm trying to make a custom label for my upcoming chips but something's wrong. I just don't know why but all of my edges are so damn blurry.

What size was the original image? What dpi? Was anti-aliased checked on when you bucket filled the color?

Yes, check all the things that Wizard suggested. You want to work at 100% of the size of the finished product and keep the resolution on the high side (300 to 600 ppi). You might even try Illustrator instead if you're not using photos. That way you don't really have to worry as much about size and resolution. Good luck!

Check your layer effects. It sounds like you may have one or more of them active (like one of the 'glow' effects.)
