Chips: 1,483 | | | Blue Chip custom question I'm just curious about this. For custom Blue Chips, are you limited to the edge spots and colors shown on their website? Or is there some sort of minimum you have to reach, to be able to pick special edge spot combos and colors?
Everyone always says that ASM is offering something that isn't available anywhere else. Whenever I see that, I always wonder if we could get those options with BCC. I look at the High Rollers and think that some of those edges are awesome, but I wonder if those were only available because the initial order was like 100k or something like that.
Anyway, I was just curious. The edge spots on the High Roller $100 are absolutely awesome. Those edges and a grand inlay is like the apex of the chip option universe. |

I was gonna post the same question. I am really interested in the Giant Inlay and would really like to know the minimum order. Can someone shed some lite into this. |

After the way the Meetup chips turned out, that is, well placed, very round inlays, great looking spots, and sharp graphics, I am strongly considering getting a set of giant inlay solids, not sure what design yet.
Also, and I just thought of this, but I did not hear a single player at the WCBE compain of a spinner! I remember when I got a Vineyard Commem set a while back, there were some spinners. Not a bunch but I still noticed it. Well I didn't hear about any at the event! Awesome, just awesome. The pictures don't do the chips justice, either. The graphics are really sharp.
And the most important thing with them is the service. I contacted BCC and they were completely helpful, updated me on things, and were very quick to reply to my emails. I think it took a month to get the chips from final design to at Rob's house, and I think the actual production time was a matter of days. I would not hesitate to go to Blue Chip with an order after the Meetup chip experience. |

This means that the spots don't stand out as much so you need to have the inlay help in differentiating the chip. Whether you use different colors or denoms doesn't matter but just something to think about. Also, I believe BC charges more for each different denom or inlay style. |

Chips: 3,049 | | | Re: Blue Chip custom question Button Potato, I am pretty sure that they are the lighter version flame mold. I never even considered asking about the heavier version. Honestly (and I am a bit biased about them) it didn't even affect me. We had nice big starting stacks and I thought they were plenty hefty.
To Ryan, the giant inlay is smooth and does make the chips a bit slicker, but there is still a bit of the cross-hatching on the face and the chips gip pretty well. I know at times I had my chips stacked up in a single tower, about 40-50 chips, on top of my 5k plaque, and they were very stable. The chips, at least initially, stacked pretty well.
Check with jamby, who had a ton of chips and several stacks of the beautiful oranges. I never cracked the 20,000 barrier . |

I do remember seeing a number of stacks of over 50 chips and I never heard anyone complain. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
