You designers can relate to this I hope.
I need to design a chip for myself, and I'm beating my head against the wall.
I've done dozens of chips for other people, but can't make my "own chip" to save my life.
Basically here is the premise.
I've got a favor coming for some artwork I did for another gig.
I'm going to get a set of full custom ceramics for the "trade."
I've decided that I would like to use this favor to make some "chip business cards" like HoldEmPokerChips uses.
Basically, logo, web, phone, and a little info.
Well, I've got the logo, web addy, phone, and info in an AI file right now.
I'm hoping some of you fellow designers can help me to make ONE CHIP. That's right, just one. A "business card chip" that I can hand out, give away with orders, and use as a promo piece for contact information.
Go nuts, make both sides different, use the rolling edges, I'm 100% open to creative ideas, so long as my basic information is represented, and the logo is prominent on at least one side.
So if someone that does chip design has some time, I would really appreicate a fresh approach to my dilemma, as I can't design for myself with a gun to my head for some reason.
The AI file (retro saved to AI 10) with all the info needed can be found:
HERE
IF AFTER YOU DOWNLOAD IT THE NAME IS ".ai.ps" on the end, just delete the ".ps" part of the suffix and it will open in Illustrator.
Thank you in advance for any thoughts, roughs, concepts, scribbles, whatever comes out of this will be greatly appreciated and I promise to reward you with a VERY limited edition On The Button t-shirt (in your size from S-XXL) if your design is used even as a base concept.
