Re: First draft inlay for my ASM customs. Opinions/input?

Sent you an email with an Elements Template to use. It should be mostly self explanatory.

Great start, though!

I've decided to use the A-mold with it's larger inlay. An ASM rep told me that the A-mold can use a 1" (7/8" printable) inlay, so I shouldn't have any surprises. Thanks for the heads-up all the same.

Great. Thanks a lot. It's gonna be a looooooooooong wait once I place the order, but I'm eager to be able to post the finished product here.

Re: First draft inlay for my ASM customs. Opinions/input?

I believe the A mold and Die/Card mold are 1" (7/8" printable) and the other molds are 7/8" (3/4" printable). The as yet un-release FDL mold I think is even larger and I'm not sure about the No Mold/Seal-Crest mold.

I like the design. I would prefer a different font on the cardroom name, something bolder or more "German" looking to go with the logo.

I wonder which will arrive first, my A4 or my ASM's?

final art approval 10/17 and they've indicated you will have them 9 weeks later? don't get those hopes up too high... my final approval was in May... I hope I get mine by x-mas too!
I did get some of them a few weeks ago... so at least I could prove to my poker group that I really did buy chips!

but, who knows... maybe things are better now and they are catching up.. just don't count on it until you see the tracking email!

love that 20- great colors!
the black is pretty cool too.. too bad it won't see much action!

Re: Hensel Cardroom ASM's - Official Thread. **Updated w/timeline - 11/14/06**

*UPDATE*

This morning I called Glenda this morning to make one final adjustment. I decided that I'd prefer that the inserts are NOT alligned with the inlay. I only came to understand recently that ASM alligns the inlays with the inserts by default.

So, I give Glenda a call to tell her not to bother allinging the inalys, as I'd prefer them random. She says "uh-oh" and tells me to hold. When she comes back on, she says that I literally caught her just in time - the chips are fully assembled and are currently one their way to the final press.

Damn, I love the folks over at ASM! Looks like I actually will have the chis before x-mas. WooHoo!
