What kind of blank chips would you get?

I have been thinking about the whole custom chip process for a long time now, and I was wondering if purchasing some some asm's from somewhere like apache would be a good idea for me. I want a good chip and then I will decide on my design for the inlay later. If anybody else has some idea's it would be nice to here. If anybody knows some other places to get blank asm's it would be helpful also. Thanks

You might want to go straight to the source, ASM, http://pokerchips.com

Yes, but from what I understand you cannot order anything but diamond design if you want no inlay's. I wish I could design my own asm's but not get inlay's from them.

Thats not true... Give them a call and let them know you are a member here and you'll be happy with your options I'm sure.

Yep... the only-diamond-mold-rule doesn't apply to CT-members.

Does this work for hotstamped chips too, or is there a reason they can only hotstamp A-mold chips? And also do they only let you do the 312 on edgespotted hostamped chips?

Thanks

They'll do horseheads for CT members. There about the only chips I'd label from ASM.

A pic of mine I received just a few days ago.

Re: What kind of blank chips would you get?

A-mold have the larger inlay area, that's why they can be hotstamped.

Thanks JM, that makes sense, but I still wish I could get hotamped horseheads. Oh well, I guess this can be my excuse for not getting another set of chips for now.
