Custom Chip questions..

I've been browsing here for a bit, and have seen a number of great custom chips..

i noticed ASM is quite popular for custom chips.. would they be the recommended way to go?

can anyone point me in the right direction as to where to look for molds? pricing?

How do people provide their designs to say, ASM? as a full chip, with edgespots and design?

are there any templates to work from where you can choose molds, colours, edgespot styles and apply your design over?

i basically need to know where to start

That is ASM's site. You will find pricing on all available chips there and you can also use their mockup generator, located HERE, to explore molds, colors and edgespots.

I noticed on asm's site that the mockup generator is different than here. Can you still use the one for here? Any other place where you can get custom clays similar to asm quality?

You should use the one on ASM's site, since that one will show the only chip combinations you can actually order. The one here will show other patterns that are not currently available.

Viewing the site, looks like some of the base colours are no longer available either, if I'm using that thingy correctly.

Looks right to me. They don't recommend dayglow colors for your base colors, that could be what you think is missing. They will do it, but recommend against it.

Ah, that's probably it, then. I rembember reading that somewhere too now, come to think of it. Some of the recent pix posted, however, sure do make some of the DG colours look great though.
