OK, so here is the deal. I currently have a set of ASM's with labels that I have been happy with since getting them, in fact, I still love them but like most people the ultimate for me is a full custom set or a fantasy set from a casino. I have been keeping my eyes open for the casino set but have lost patience so I am going to go with a full custom set of ceramics.
The Idea
I tried
very hard to come up with some designs of my own as I wanted to encorporate something personal into the design, but nothing worked and they ended up 'lame looking' as my brother so eliquently put it....apparently my creativity does not extend to chip design, and that is where you come in.
The Bribe
I am going to be purchasing a set of 600-1000 chips, and I am going to select a design that someone from here can come up with since I am useless on my own. If I was a rich SOB I would just hire someone outright, but having just graduated from college and starting work I have student loans and such to pay off, I thought if I offered a Heads Up set of 100 chips (from the chips that you design) it would be enough to entice the boards collective imagination.
The Details
I have no real requirements on design or anything, just keep in mind that I am going to stick with 4, maybe 5, chips that have denoms but no currency symbols. Post here or email me (just append @gmail.com to my CT name) with as many designs/ideas as you wish and when I see a design I like I will let you know, post it here, and ask you how you want your 100 chips distributed. Realistically I will probably find a couple designs I like and it may come down to trying to tweak a few different designs a little, in which case I will give out some sample sets to designs that require modifications at my request.
All About Me
I am an electrical engineer, I am not into guns, weapons, or hunting but do enjoy athletics and sports. I believe in strong family ties but not in any religion, and since that does not probably help one bit here are some particular chip sets that I like. I will add to this list as they come to mind, but here are a few sets that I like:
* Wyndams, Meadow Brook (in Guma's collection), Luxor (Gaming Ore's collection), Borgata (in 'ash's collection)-- all similar design
* jldecarlo's customs
* Egyptians
* Paulson Marvel Comics, Dunes, Vineyards, Crystal Parks
The above are intended to guide you as to what kind of chips I like and maybe give you and idea of my particular tastes, NOT to be duplicated as we all know that is wrong...OK, most of us.
The Deadline
I would like to place my order by late October/early November in case you were wondering if there was a deadline.

SEPT 3 UPDATE: It is clear that I need to refine what I am looking for further since I have received several questions as well as designs, so I am going to make things a LOT easier for potential designers. Forget the full face graphics; I am still very much interested in full face, but they are a lot more difficult to do so I will tackle a full face idea on my own and let you guys off a bit easier.
Stick with designs that are along the same idea as the Borgata's as I really like these and the Wyndham's; play around with different styles of edge spots and colours and stuff, and feel free to be as creative as you want but at least this gives you a general idea to work from.
