Question Blue Chip minimums?

Does anybody know what the minimum order for Blue Chip complete custom spotted chips currently is? BTW I'm not talking about the preset 3D14 they have. I remember a while back it was 5K, then I thought I heard 30K but am not sure what the straight dope currently is.

I realize I should just contact them but it being Saturday and what with me being pretty sure someone hereabouts knows the answer it seems a reasonable question to pose. I will not even get into my laziness.

Re: Blue Chip minimums?

I just looked at the BC site and it doesn't really say, at least not that I could find. It lists edge-spot chips at $0.85 each plus art fees of $150.00 per design (each different denomination is considered a different design), but it doesn't really say if you have to use set color combinations for the chips/edge-spots and/or if there is any minimum quantity. I would either call them directly or send them an email.

My understanding was 300 chips, although that may be for just orders in general, not custom edge spots.

I may or may not agree with your assessment, but those are pretty strong fighting words from someone with 10 posts about 1 of only 2 manufacturers of compression molded clay chips....

btw I have no idea about the answer but am interested in it.
