Thoughts on Palm Import ceramic samples.

I received some ceramic samples from Palm Imports with my label samples yesterday. Here are my thoughts.

1. These are not close to chipco chips in quality IMO.

Smooth finished chips.

They look pretty good. I only have 1 chip so i cant same how they stack but they feel real slick to touch. These are a major bargain at the group buy price. If these end up stacking well then i will buy a custom set of these chips.

Rough finish chips.

Text is very blurred and doesnt look good at all. I didnt expect these to look this bad. Compared to the smooth chips these are sub par.

I WOULD get the smooth chips and they are a steal at the price Joe is offering to chip talk members, however i think people will be disappointed with the rough chips.

As far as the label samples i received i am VERY impressed !!!!

Like i said i only have a couple samples YMMV.

Re: Thoughts on Palm Import ceramic samples.

Can you elaborate on the 'not close to chipco quality'? Do they have the sharp edge that some of the ceramics have on one side?

Re: Thoughts on Palm Import ceramic samples.

They just seem to be "cheaper" to me. Yes, the edges are sharper than a chipco edge. If you Pm me your address ill send you these samples JM.

Has Joe mentioned the prices yet? (My apologies if I've missed this, but I'm anxious. )
