Re: Opinions please-ASM set

I for one say go for it.

I just wish I could of gotten a hotstamped 5 cent chip but ASM won't sell any H-molds without an inlay, because of the deal they have to use the mold. Oh well, guess the stakes just went up is all.

Chips looks great, any reason you went with all 312 chips instead of using some of the other options available now.

Re: Opinions please-ASM set

You can only do the other configurations with inlays, I didn't want to commit to inlays....and I can't wait that long, I'll already have two new sets bought and sold in 12 weeks. Oh, jello, I have'nt stated publicly, but have PM'ed a few. I actually gave a very blatant clue in another thread. I just wasn't sure how the person would react to a bunch of whackos....not you guys of course, some other whackos on another chip site, yeah that's what I meant .

Ok, I did my own hotstamp...not pretty (not your sample Matt, don't worry) but if it were lined up properly and wasn't pressed by a whacko, it might look cool.

i guess I can do hotstamping now too, I've got it figured out, you too can have great looking stamps like this. I just need another few sets of vice grips and some blowtorches for heat and you've got custom stamps baby. Just .25 per chip.....

Re: Opinions please-ASM set

I think I've got to call the ladies at PC.com and ask them why they don't hotstamp the HH mold...hopefully it's a very lame reason. The more I look at my California Hotel chip the more I like the 312 hot stamped look.

Re: Opinions please-ASM set

I want to do a brutal looking set with hotstamps. It's the only set I really want 312 on. Basically, all black bodies with the edgespots denoting the denomination:

solid: $0.25
White: $1
Mand. Red: $5
Green: $25

Use a hotstamp that looks like "The Punisher" skull on each. If available, match hotstamp foil to edgespot color. Silver for the solid and white spot chips.

That'd be hot.

re: the orig. question: It would look cool but do you want two sets of the "same" chips? I know the TRKs are solid and the ASMs would have spots but the stamp would make them VERY similar. If that sounds good to you, go for it.

Re: Opinions please-ASM set

I really like the idea, atleast your set would match, you will never be able to add on if you don't do this, since TRKing is no longer available.
