I spoke with CATHY on the phone this morning. She told me that they were finishing the inspection(s) on both my RED and WHITE chips and that they "WILL" go out WEDNESDAY(tomorrow).

Don't do IT, DON'T DO IT!!!!

I'm afraid to ask because I don't want to be told a date, only to be disappointed when that date isn't hit.

I think what bothers me most about the idea of these large orders bumping small ones is the fact that our orders are paid in full before the first chip is started. And yet they seem to warrant little to no priority over other new orders. If I'm the customer, make me feel just as important as the casinos (even though I'm clearly not) and get my order finished in a timely fashion. If we're going to be treated as 2nd tier customers, perhaps a different billing structure is in order.

It's my understanding that most trades get paid in stages as the product nears completion, to avoid this very problem. Having collected 100% of the price (plus the shipping charge!) prior to starting, there's very little motivation to get it done, and there's increased frustration on our end as we wait for a product we've already purchased.

I think it would be much more tolerable and fair to use a structure like this:

50% up front
25% when ready for finishing
25% to ship it out

Just my two cents.

P.S. My chips went to the finishing plant on 8/11 and haven't shipped yet. They're still within the 10 working days though, so I haven't called yet to hear the latest chapter in the epic story of how a little blob of clay persevered to become a loved member of my family.

My chips were with yours on the 8/11 truck to the finishing plant... so we'll see what happens. Post here if you get a shipping notification, and I'll do the same

Woot! My addon order has been shipped! Of course this is just a small (125 chips) add on to my original order, so it probably didn't take as long as some of the big orders others are waiting for. I don't have any details about when it was shipped to the finishing plant or anything since I didn't ever contact ASM. I just figured it was more exciting this way! And I'm sure excited now!

(sorry if it looks like I'm rubbing anyone's noses in it. I don't mean to, I'm just excited that my chips have shipped!)

Well I to am over the 12 weeks and I contacted them yesturday and they said 4-6 more weeks. No idea why my order is taking so long
