Mine kept getting delayed going to the finishing plant, and when they finally left on a Thursday I had them by the following Wednesday with no tracking e-mail or anything, so I was pretty surprised...So I would say it is possible that you have them before October.

Yeah, the one thing to remember is that when they say "10-14 days at the finishing plant" its 10-14 BUSINESS days... so thats actually 2-3 real life weeks.

Hey, maybe we found the issue right there! When they say 12 weeks till order completion, they are only counting business days.
So 12 ASM weeks = 84 work days/5 days per week= 16.8 real life weeks.
Wait, I'm in week 18 now. Damn....

They told me 6-10 business days.

They produce the orders in bits and pieces, so my guess would be that they've been in production for the 7 weeks or whatever it is.
As far as by the end of September, I think for the sake of your mental health, no, you should not expect them by then.
Mid-October looks like a realistic estimate. I'd say November is a losing bet, but for the right odds...?

6-10 at the finishing plant?
If that's the case, then the time at the finishing plant is short, unless you're MasterBrewer, then it's 3 weeks. 
Okay, so we're still all over the map then. I just wanted to be sure that....um...that I have no idea when they're coming.

One more factor to consider.
My order was relatively small with 530 chips, and it took 9 days there. I would expect larger orders to take longer.
