ASM--Anyone waiting for a particular offering to place an order?

Just wondering if there's one or maybe even a few offerings anyone is waiting on before wanting to place a custom order with ASM. I know lots of people already have custom sets from them, but I'm still waiting for my perfect dream set. I'm hoping for another group buy rate, but mainly the 312S edgespot pattern (along with the 414 and 3D14 still being available); I think it's one of the coolest patterns they have. I'd also consider the no mold jimb mentioned, but right now am set on HH.

According to Jim, the Fleur de Lis mold should be available sometime soon. "ASM will be taking orders on that mold in about 60 days" (posted 5/7/06). Is anyone waiting on this? I hope with this offering they'll also offer the no mold. And the 312S. And another group buy rate. It's a longshot but I can dream.

EDIT: 312S, not 3125

3125 pattern? Are you talking about the palmas $500 chip pattern? I think that is a 514 pattern.

No, like the $25 light green palmas pattern. In the first pic of this thread.

I think you mean 312S, as in three one-half inch split spots. They are like the 312 but the middle third of the spot is the same as the body color.

Yeah, you're right. Just went back to look at Chip Forge.

Re: ASM--Anyone waiting for a particular offering to place an order?

Ah ok, I understand now. I'd guess probably never

Considering the amount of labor involved in doing the extra patterns from the last offering, I doubt we'll get anything exotic like these anytime soon.

I'd love to see those as well as the V type inserts as on the Thunderbird chips.

Hey thanks a lot, JM. Stomp on my heart why don't you. Negative rep for you.

But yeah, those V ones are sweet, too. I figure they'll never offer that one.

Nah, just keeping your expectations low. Think of how excited you'll be if Jim proves me wrong though!

Re: ASM--Anyone waiting for a particular offering to place an order?

I already have an order in, and if they never offer anything else, I'm ecstatic about what I have coming. However, should they offer the 814, 8a14, the V spots, the 312s, or any of the 1/4 pie options I would add on to my set in a heartbeat! (So while I do hope they offer those, I hope it isn't so soon that my bankroll hasn't had sufficient recovery time from the initial order!)

I would expect that the V and the 312s are the least likely future offerings, but the others seem plausible considering past offerings. (I admitedly know very little about poker chip construction, but I can't see how the 814 or 8a14 would be much more difficult to make than the 614 or 6a14s, but maybe I'm wrong.)

Re: ASM--Anyone waiting for a particular offering to place an order?

Also, to anyone holding out, I'd recommend jumping on any offer that has even a part of what you want because once you have an initial order, you can always add to that order in the future.

I'm really curious to see if there will be any other special offerings along with the introduction of the new mold.
