Chips: 58 | | | New Nevada Jacks I'm new at this, so please don't rip me apart yet! I'm getting a new set of 500 custom NJ's. I want to make sure this stuff all looks ok (we play a T2000 tourney).
Breakdown:
Red-100 ($5)
Blue-100 ($10)
Green-120 ($25)
Black-110 ($100)
Purple-30 ($500)
Yellow-20 ($1000)
Orange-20 BOUNTY
=500 chips
This may belong in a different spot, but I am asking for some help on a chip design. I know that I want those above colors, and I want the denoms on them, also saying Tournament chips. I would also like it to say Aspinall (my name) Cardroom and maybe have a cursive A in gray in the background. Any other suggestions/ideas would be welcome. Thanks in advance! |

The only reason I like the $10 chips too are because it gives people more to start with. (3 stacks of 10-$5, $10, $25) but I see your point. I also just got on the NJ website and it looks like I can only order in 100 minimums, so that might present a problem, especially with the 1k chips and the bountys. |

Chips: 2,653 | | | Re: New Nevada Jacks I'd suggest you get rid of both the 5's and 10's and do the following for T=5000 with 25-25 and 25-50 blinds to start
120 - 25's
200- 100's
130- 500's
50- 1000's for a total of 500 chips. If you want the Bounty chips get 20 extra that won't be so bad.
With T= 5000 you could do 10 people at 12-25's, 17-100 and 6-500's. You should have plenty left to color up and for rebuys. Thats what I'd do because you're doing a tournament. After the first few rounds you won't be using the 25's anyway. They just get the action started.
You could still do T=2000 if you have more than 10 people but T=5000 seems like more fun because everyones got more chips. You could even go higher than T=5000 if you wanted to add in a few 1000's. I like everyone to have alot of chips. But thats just me. |
