Faux clay for cheap, cheap, cheap. For quality there's been a lot of talk of TRK's feel surpassing that of ASM, but there's quite a lot of satisfied long-term ASM owners out there. I think the solid ASMs are cheaper than the TRKing, but I can't say for sure....

I agree -- TRK solids by a mile. I had a set of ASM solid w/ circle-square mold and really never developed a liking to them. They felt too hard/brittle to me. The TRK Solid solids from the Hot Stamp GB are sweet!
I'd say TRK or ASM for quality - value must lean towards faux clay

With regards to the compression molded clays, TR King chips are a little heavier, are slightly smaller in diameter, and have a brighter palatte of colours than ASMs. The ASMs are available with a few different molds and may be a wee bit less expensive though.
