I'm going to get a cash set of TR Kings (solids w/ stamps) for my home game which plays .10/.25 games. I've decided on:

.10 = Orange
.25 = Brown
1.00 = ???
5.00 = Red

I need some input on the $1 chip.

I ordered a set of non denoms from 99%evil last month for my weekly cash games. I will be using yellow (25¢), dark blue ($1), orange ($5), and brown ($20). I really like the look of the dark blue with the other colours. It keeps things from looking too light and should look fantastic with a hotstamp.

Although I am using turqoise for my set, I thought with a red $5 the blue was the better choice. (I'm using gold) I saw the lean towards dark blue on the poll - I prefer the look of the lt. blue (sort of a white/blue compromise in my mind) So, while I won't be using that color myself, it would be my choice were I to use a red $5

I don't like the Dark Blue with the Brown (too many darks). The white would most likely be the dirtiest chip in your set. I still think Off White would be a good color to match with the others you've chosen because of their similarities (earth toned warm colors).
