Does anyone know if ASM will actually make chips using the "fleur de lis" mold. I'm from la belle province du Quebec so I wanted to get some of these for a custom set. thanks in advance to all who answer.

Yeah, up in Quebec, the FdL mold would be "tres beau".

(Did I spell that right? I haven't had French in 20 years...)

yeah that's some good french, you missed the accent on the e but I'm assuming you have an English keyboard, like I do, and it won't let you do this. So I can't fault you for that one . Yeah I really like the design on this mold and it seems to have a recessed centre (judging from the chip forge) which would allow me to put labels on because I'm too poor to get ASM to do them for me .

Jim Blanchard has said in the past that the FDL mold may be available in the near future. It does have a recessed center and it is a modern mold, according to Jim.

I love that mold. I would have ordered my customs on that mold in a heartbeat if it was available.
