Chips: 6,182 | | | 43mm Ceramics... Ive had three people ask us if we would consider manufacturing a 43mm mold for ceramics.
It's not that big a deal to do- the question is... is this something people want to have available to them?
Actually, let me rephrase that- MAKING a 43mm ceramic isnt a big deal- setting up for printing MAY be a big deal..
So what say- is bigger.... better??

Joe | Joe, as far as I know, you would then be the sole manufacturer of the size ceramic chip for the home market. while not a standard thing, i'm quite confident there's enough demand available to make it a viable option for customers. It's a very cool thing, imho.

Like you said though, making the blank isn't hard. Printing it on the current machine is the tricky part. |

I'm gonna look into a 43mm ceramic first-- I would really like to experiment with putting imbedded mold markings into a ceramic mold- similia rto the tophat and cane impressions in a paulson mold- nobody has tried this yet and its definately doable- assuming we can print INTO the imbedded mold marks. Something to ponder down the road.
Thanks for the input

What a great idea! If this is possible that would put you into a very unique position in the home market. Can we see if this is possilbe before the Belagio Tribute Chips are final? Would love to see the highest denoms in a larger size.

Cyna - | Dude. I'm sure we all appreciate your enthusiasm and share your interest but.....don't be crazy! I could be wrong but I'm thinking if Joe doesn't know whether he can do it, it's going to take some time for him to test such a system out. Not to mention the Bellagio buyers are rabid fanatics that every. single. detail. should match the original if possible! (fortunately I can talk that way since I'll most likely be one now...). |

lets get the group buy finished before I wander off in another direction.
Where am I ..
