Chips: 560 | | | TR King chip weights I've read about the different weights depending on color for other chip makers: ASM, Paulson, Blue Chip...
I was wondering if someone had any insight into TR King color weights?
My samples all feel the same to me, just wondering...

Once I get the samples in for my GB I will weigh some different colors and see what I come up with. I suppose there could be some slight difference between hot stamped and inlaid, but I will report anyway.

now let me say that the weight will most likely vary a little bit from manufacturing batch to batch (not by much though). My 20 samples (of every color) of my Golden Stardust stamped chips FEEL heavier than my samples of the King's Crown inlaid chips OR even chips from my actual set of Golden Stardust chips I bought ... I don't know WHY, but I think they only FEEL heavier because I've played/handled/shuffled the GS samples more than the others and perhaps they've consumed more sweat, oil, or whatever from my hands (which WILL add to the weight) ... |

I was only asking to see if there are drastic differences between certain colors, like with other chipmakers.
Sounds like all the colors are closely matched in weight, which is what it feels like to me in a non-scientific 'feels the same to me' way. |

TT | Wow, that’s lot. Seems like that would be enough to feel the difference in two chip stacks. |

TT | i'm assuming you only weighed one of each color at a time though, right? i cant imagine there would be that much difference consistently between colors. |

TT | could part of this weight difference be due to the different amounts of drool on each color? | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
