Need help with edgespots/inlay...

Alright... so I'm going to apologize in advance because I haven't really had a lot of experience using the Chip Factory and don't know how to save/post my mockups, or how to view what a spotted stack would look like. I'm really look just for help with my color scheme, and inlay ideas.

I'm looking at either getting ASMs (hopefully they'll be offering the different edgespots again soon, and also make their new molds [specifically the NO Mold if it's a blank mold like it sounds like] permanent as I won't have the money for my set until mid to late summer), or if the colors aren't really what I want I might look at getting custom Blue Chips at a slightly higher price because I was VERY impressed with Kendoman's. Here's the color scheme I have set up right now (I plan on using this set for .25/.50 NL with one group of friends and 1/2 NL with another.

.25 chip
DG Yellow w/ 3D14 DG Pink/Lavender

$1
Imperial Blue w/ 3D14 Black/White

$5
Mandarin Red w/ 3D14 DG Yellow/Arc Yellow

$25
Green w/ 3D14 Black/Yellow

On the factory screen it looked pretty good but I'm not sure how all these combinations would look together. This is just the best I could come up with, but I'm open to trying any suggestions others have to see if I like them better. My only thing is I want all my chips to have 3D14 edgespots as I like them more uniform on cash game sets (I'm all for the progressive spots on tournament sets though, but I plan on splurging on ceramics when the time comes to replace my Faux Clays).

Now onto the inlay problem. I am not proficient with Photoshop or any type of graphic software at all, but I have sketched in a notebook what I would want. I would want to try to use colors to create "shaped" inlays using the main color of the chip to create a shape for a white picture, but I'm not sure what kind of shapes would be typical for these sort of denominations or how they would progress. I know I want black text along the top edge that says "Blue Smurf Card Club" black text along the bottom that says "United States of America" (I don't want to put the actual town where I live in case I move, which I know will happen eventually). Right above USA I'd want the denomination in bold red. I though about using a picture of a smurf as the image right above the denomination. I attached the image I thought about using... although I don't know if the color will clash with the non blue chips.

So anyways, any suggestions and help would be awesomely appreciated.

Hi azuresmurf -

Sorry to rain on your parade, but you're probably going to have a hard time getting anyone to print a smurf without permission from the copyright holder. FYI, it appears that the people to contact are:

International Merchandising, Promotion & Services s.a.
Rue du Cerf 85
B-1332 Genval
Belgium

Tel: +322/652 02 20 - Fax: +322/652 01 60

info@smurf.com

Or at least that's what it says at www.smurf.com.

Also, the chip forge at www.kalimba.com/chipforge/index.php will allow you to see all these chips together in various poses.

Cheers, and good luck with your set.
