Not meant specifically for anyone in particular, but everyone has to remember that these chips are made by hand for the most part. We ordered a lot of chips all at once and there are only so many people working at ASM.
I too can't wait for mine, but I'm not really bummed. What makes it even harder is to see the chips now rolling off the line and into peoples hands and then the pictures hit chiptalk for us all to see. That alone probably makes the wait even more real.
Anticipation ....in some ways this is also good because we can concentrate on the chips one set at a time. Imagine how bored we would all be if 200 sets of chips all hit chiptalk at the same time? Everyone's design and color choices would be watered down if we all posted pictures at once.
I think this process should be immensely enjoyed as these chips start arriving for us all to see.
But for those of you who are waiting, and have never had a full set of the ASM's, it will be well worth the wait. Just get your camera ready and hope that the chiptalk server has enough capacity to handle the hundreds of pictures that will soon be here.
