I have an inlay design I'm happy with for the front of my new ASM chips but I'm still drawing a blank on ideas for the back. Do you typically have the same inlay on the front & back of your chips or do you try to have something different?

Same for the front and back for me....You might have better results doing a poll.
If you can't come up with something you like and works with the inlay you have, I wouldn't hesitate to use the same inlay on both sides. I did that with my first ASM set and didn't regret it. But keep playing with ideas and maybe you'll come up with something that compliments what you already have. I think the worst thing to do is put two different inlays on your chips just because you can, and to have them not go together at all.
Personally I like the idea of a 2 sided chip. Especially if you play on using a larger image for the 1st side. Then, you can place the denoms on the back and neither design/side is cluttered or too busy.
FYI, the minimum order at ASM is 300 chips... but if you do different fronts and backs, its 500 chips. They will do different fronta and backs at no extra charge, however...
