That may be true in
SOME cases, but 300 dpi (OR actually
ppi; pixels per inch) is more than enough to get a quality print (any kind of print) ... a higher ppi than that
DOESN'T necessarily add more quality to the final print, but will only most definately just add more to the file size.
The thickness of the chip is 3.3mm
The rolling edge of the chip (the circumference) is roughly 122.5mm :
(pi x diameter = circumference)
(3.14 x 39mm = 122.46mm)
