New chips for my ASM cash set

Hey how does this look for my cash set, the grey, blue and red chips are already done and getting ready to be finished. The rest I am going to order on Monday, Don't know what value the green chip will be but I made it up and now love it. The yellow will be $20 and black will be $100.

So what denom should the green chip be I was thinking a $2 chip but I don't think it will get alot of use, probably won't be playing $4/$8 very often. Any ideas, may just have to make it my 5 cent chip but that seems like an expensie chip for that.

What stakes do you play? It'd be easier to pick a denom for that chip if you list what games and what stakes you play.

Re: New chips for my ASM cash set

You could always make it a nondenom so you can work it into a game where it is needed rather than locking it down to just one denomination. It looks too good for a chip that will not see any use.

Re: New chips for my ASM cash set

I don't have a regular game setup right now, getting ready to move and don't have time to try and get one going.

I would say that depending on the people I would like to try and setup a .25/.50 NL game or lower or most likely a limit game of something like $1/$2 where the .25 chips are for blinds only and the $1 chips are the workhorse, I have 300 of the $1 comming and 200 $5 chips and 200 .25 chips. I was going to order something like 80 of the $20 yellow chips and 20 of the $100, just so I can reorder but those $100 will probably never see action but you never know so I want to be able to get more.

The $20 I'm getting as just incase chips, they may see a little play, will probably get another 200 or 300 of the $1 chips but with this green chip I may make it a $2 chip and get 400 of them and another 100 of the $1 and use them both as the workhorse chips and we could always bump it up and play some $4/$8 with the $2 chips. With the $20 chips for colorups as use just those 2 denoms.

Re: New chips for my ASM cash set

Yeah thanks I love that green chip, I was playing around in the chipforge and was kinda looking at some casino chips etc on eBay. Was looking at the Vinyards and used either the $2 or $3 chip as the inspiration, can't recall from memory. I really like it and now just need to choose the denom. I really don't like non denom chips, especially when cash is involved. For a tourney chip I could live with it, but my cash set will be locked up when not in use and all chips will have a value on the inlay.

Already thinking of getting a new table build with a drop box for the cash and everything. Probably won't put in a dealer tray as we won't have a dedicated dealer but the drop box seems nice, that way everyone knows there is cash in there to cover all the chips in play.

Re: New chips for my ASM cash set

Nice combos. The only thing that jumped out at me is that there's a lot of purple edgespots in your upper denoms. Not necessarily an issue, just thought i'd point it out.
