One more of these "check out my ASM colors/spots" threads...opinions, please.

Ok, so time is running out on the 4d14/614/6A14/412 spots. It's now time for me to post up some mockups. Your thoughts?

I like the top one quite a bit. Nice job.

That is a tough choice. While I really like the bottom ones, I love the 6a14 pattern. Perhaps you could try the edge colours of the bottom black chip on the 6a14 pattern and see how that looks.

I really like the bottom one...EXCEPT for the orange spot on the red chip...the yellow looks cool, but the orange blends too much...coupled with the contrasting yellow, that looks strange to me...

My vote on the black chip is the 4d14 peach/imperial blue. Of course I'm partial to that one because it's the exact same one I'm getting in a few weeks with any luck.

Re: One more of these "check out my ASM colors/spots" threads...opinions, please.

I like the black 4d14 blue/peach chip.

FWIW, when I ordered my husbands set, the red chip was 3d14, red, with yellow and DG orange edgespots. I thought it would look great. When I got it, I was not so happy. It wasn't awful, but not great. The DG orange shows up okay on edge, but very poorly on the face. It looks like maybe you choose dg yellow and orange, so yours are a little different.... Anyway, just thought I'd mention it since others were commenting.

You can see pics here (most are ont he first page, with a high res scan on page 4):

OR THIS:

The ORANGE edgespot on the RED needs to go. It needs to contrast more.

DG Peach/Imp Blue seems a little too "loud" for my tastes in a 6a14 pattern.

Also, regarding the red chip...I'm struggling to pick something else for the edgespots. Any suggestions? I'm trying to not use any colors more than once in throughout the set.
