Additional Chip thoughts?

I'm looking to add and replace some chips in my current cash set. Here are some options I'm thinking about, any comments?

White (new) = .25c
Pink (current) = .50c
Blue (replace) = $1
Red (current) = $5
DG Yellow (new) = $20
Black (replace, maybe) = $100

I also have a $25 in my set but I think a $20 chip will see more use for rebuys and such. Typically, there won't be a lot of these in use at any given time.

Re: Additional Chip thoughts?

I really like that white 25c! As for the blue $1, i've never been a fan of black edgespots on darker chips, but I think the DG pink brightens it up. I think the 20 looks kinda easter-ish, though I'm not saying that's bad! As for the 100 I like your current one too, but I like this new one more as the separation of the edgespot I think clears up the chip a little bit with the 4a12.

Actually, I'm really happy with how the $5 chip turned out so hopefully the $1 will work out the same. I want the $20 chip to stand out on the table so I went with a brighter color for the base. The $100 is a maybe but at least if I get a 4A12 now, I can always get more later in a different style.

Re: Additional Chip thoughts?

I think the $1 will turn out great, I do like that DG pink on there. As for the $20 have you tried replacing the lavender with green? Personally I think the lavender makes it look too soft.

Re: Additional Chip thoughts?

Even though you probably do not need anymore chips, in true Chiptalk fashion, I urge you to order these today. You know you will not be happy until you do.

Re: Additional Chip thoughts?

I think the set needs some green in there somewhere. If not a green chip, then some green edgespots

Re: Additional Chip thoughts?

Agreed, I already have a green chip ($25) in my current set. ChipForge only allows 6 chips so I dropped it off.

http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/custom...-4-1-06-a.html

Probably stupid to have a $20 and $25 chip but I think the $20 might see more use in a cash game (plus I get another chip style). My plan is to use them for rebuys or late shows and let them make change at the table instead of me having to count out a playable set in the middle of the evening. A rack of $20 and $25 chips makes this easier for me; all the small chips are in play when the game starts.
