I'd like to know if there is any information on HAVING to go through Palm Imports. When we first found SFC they have some unbelievable prices (such as .20/chip for.....5000?), but the post containing the review and the prices got taken down. Now after the whole feud and the copyright thing we come out of it HAVING to go through PI?? How is that?

If they are going to line up edgespots that I'd go w/ sunfly unless the price is too high. I will probably only get these If I can do so for arond .20/.30. Otherwise I already have the 04 WSOP replicas and these aren't different enough for me to justify the purchase.

They jumped the gun initially when they priced their chips- and made corrections to pricing BEFORE we became a distributor- they really dont want to get buried in 300pc-500pc orders and want artwork ready to print-
They also are very concerned with hurting american business who not only do these chips now, but helped develop the technology to do the chips.
This company is looking at the WHOLE picture- not just those who want the cheapest price for their 500 pc chip set.
OUR pricing went UP also- so you're not the only one.
The .20 per chip actually equates to closer to .40-.45 per chip-5000 chips is ALOT of weight to ship... when you factor in airfreight and Customs fees, etc. They are NEW to this market and have made mistakes in entering the ceramic chip area.
We are working to find the necessary price points to keep most people happy- this will take time.
Unfortunately this is the business world- but we will go out of our way to try and keep most happy. Best we can do.

Yeah I would have to agree here... Somehow I doubt this is the truth. The Chinese look to beat out any American company when it come to manufacturing. Clothes, electronic & of course poker chips. Anyone else care to comment here??

So basically what happend here is the following. Palm contacted Sunfly and set up an arrangement with them to help them get their product over here. SFC didn't raise their prices at all because they were doing fine where they were. As we speak Palm is deciding how much profit he want's to make on these per chip and that is precisely how much he will add onto the prices that used to be on the SFC website. Ex. If the old SFC price on the website was .20/chip at 5000 chip level and Palm wants to make .30/chip by scamming us, then the price will be .50/chip for us. Lovely. We all know of course that these will be more than .50/chip because of coures they have to be around the same price as the U.S. companies chips...

Frank ain't it a thing of beauty? PI on this site has been awesome. I'm willing to go out on limb and figure that PI's discussion of ability to print cermaic chips state side is a blatant lie on his behalf. Sunfly supplies the blanks for another company or they'll be printed by Sunfly. Call this just a crazy hunch.

That's total bullcrap. It does NOT cost 25c to import a 10g chip! If it did, why are we getting 12.5g chips for less than 10c per chip shipped???

I knew it wouldn't be long before this guy crashed our party. Doesn't he get it...we're not intereted in his crap. He says doesn't want to deal in retail because of hassle. Also, he supposedly works with some of our sponsored retailers and he doesn't want to compete with them; however, he's trolling these boards endlessly giving his 2 cents. What does he want from us then? I wish he would just go away.
