Re: Bellagio Replica Mock-Ups

OTB- I still think the 100 chip needs to have more yellow and the 25 chip needs more grey (I'm talking about the size of the pattern). I have seen these chips in person several times, the 500 chip is definitely orange and I believe the 25 is grey, not white.

If we use B then we're really limiting ourselves as to what the chip means. I think they'll have greater personal value to them if we go with P or T.
I personally like the fancy "T" we've had on their for a while as it lines up better with the word "Tournament"

What's funny is that I "fast read" this and thought you were giving me an alternate font name to use.

Lo and behold, after a search I have a font named "ITC Mona Lisa"

I load it up and look at it, only to think, "Man this guy is HIGH if he thinks this is the same font."

Then I read your post again and laughed.

Re: Bellagio Replica Mock-Ups

This is the only official thread for the Bellagio replicas until the legitimate GB thread is started.

OTB, would you like me to start the official GB thread yet?

The colors just need to be reversed. The 25s are gray with green spots and the 100s are yellow with black spots.

The denom-less chip at the bottom could be used for an alternate 1K since people here don't seem to like the brown/pink combo.

Using the B under Tournament looks weird to me. I think some sort of script font T should be used. For some reason, the script T that you've been using screams "medieval" and doesn't look "elegant" like the B Bellagio used.

The font I used for "Tournament" was Book Antiqua. It's very close to La Gioconda, and at the size the chips will be made, I don't think it'll make much of a difference.

I'm not sure if me or Nugzy will be handling the GB. He volunteered in the other thread, and has handled one before.

Right now I'm focused on getting the art finalized, and then I can think about what I'm going to do next and how to do it.

I think PI is also answering a few questions over in that other thread, so while he gets that sorted out, I'm gonna blaze away on this end of the designing.
