Re: Bellagio Replica Mock-Ups

I think on the 25 and 100 chips, the green and the black stripes need to be a little thinner.
Oh yeah, great job overall on these.

Based on what I see in those pics, here is where I've taken this: (Two steps forward, one step back.)

Of course the bottom "no value" chip colors are up for debate, I just picked two that I thought worked together.

Fire away!

Looks like you nailed it. Only thing in question would be how the colors come out on the chips. I could be dead wrong, but doesn't the 25 look grey & green in some pictures of the Bellagio chips? Also the brown may come out a little dark.

Of course if someone knows a copyright attorney, and can get a consult, I'll push it as far as they think we can get away with.
I am not an attorney but based on what we did with the WSOP and the legal advice given duirng the design process, it seems that there shouldn't be a problem using the "B". Obviously using the name Bellagio is not possible. By the way, great work on the design - these chips look great! I hope we can convince you to use the "B" and truly replicate the actual Bellagio chips as closely as possible. If so, I am in for a few thousand.

Re: Bellagio Replica Mock-Ups

OTB, Thank you. You have certainly multiplied the interest in these chips since I posted my samples based on Marduk's original designs a week ago. Your lastest mock up seems to be our gold master. I think the next step is to begin a GB thread. Since you have taken the lead with this GB, I believe you should start one ASAP. Again, thank you and let us all cross our fingers that this GB will finally happen.

We are just going to have to do the best we can with what we've got.

Unfortunately we don't have anything other than a few action digi-pics to match to, (and not even of all the chips) so we are just going to have to decide on what we like/think instead of real world accuracy.

Now if someone HAD a set of these chips I could borrow, then I could nail it down nearly exactly from a Pantone match book.

I can put gray with the green 25, I can make the 500 orange (looked kind of salmon colored to me) I can make them any way we want them to be, but I can't make every change that everyone wants to every chip but I can change via consensus.

Love everything about these. If you think the minor adjustments mentioned about the diamonds and $25 chip work then fine if you like them the way they are I'm in for that too. As far as "T" vs "B" both are good I guess "B" is more like the Bellagio on one hand whereas "T" works better with "Tournament" so I like either one. Why don't we get someone to start a GB. I'm in for at least 1000 with the prices stated earlier.
