Joe | What's your (documented) landed cost on 20K, 30K and 40K ????
Add 3% and we'll start negotiating down from there.
Cookies anyone?

Sounds to me like PI could be a valuable asset in a group buy with SunFly. Of course, one can't expect someone to sort through 20,000+ chips and mail them all out for free.... | The ONLY asset in this entire mix is SFC.
Next to that would be the those who have conducted a GB.
Use caution when placing 'value'.

yeah seriously. I'm sure I'd rather have plenty of other people on this board coordinate this rather than have PI involved in any way. Joe still hasn't proven himself to be a valuable asset to anyone yet.

If this group buy is FORCED to go through Palmimports. I want a guarantee of every chip.....Just like NJ does. If i get a defective chip..........JOE WILL REPLACE IT......and I want it in writing or at least posted in you paid forum that you will guarantee all of your chips.
You still have not answered why you did a 180 degree on Chinese chips. I guess making a little money changes your tune about a product......especially one that you thought was your competition at first.

About this whole GB thing, can we start up an official GB thread about it? I've never done anything related to GBs before, so maybe we can get a veteran to start up a GB thread for those Bellagio mockups over in the GB discussion forum. The sooner one gets started the better!

Of course we would guarantee the product-- actually the factory would but our guarantee is the same thing-- why wouldnt they? Theyre competing in an established market- if they dont stand behind their product then I would have alot of problems with our other accounts... and they won't last long.... neither would I.
When I posted the first post about Chinese chips- Sun wasnt the one we used-- we were entering into agreements with them but so much had to be worked out we went with another " cheaper" factory. Pricing was an issue as was not being well versed in graphics design and so forth.
The chips our customer received from the other manuf were a mess-- thats when we resumed talks with Sun- and we werent even sure of Suns quality of product-- but we knew we needed a factory and there arent many who can do this- let alone do it well.
So, as usual, I spoke hastily about chinese chips- but evidently didnt make clear that Sun wasnt the chip manufacturer-- and at the time of the post- lumped em all into one group.
Dont get me wrong-- there are STILL some minor quality issues with Sun- but thats why we're working with them-- to avoid another inferior product being marketed. Ive imported countless containers of goods from China- it's not easy to always get consistent quality-- one container is great, the next problems, etc. Its just how it is.
I think with us helping Sun develop the product-- a GOOD, cost effective product will be produced.
And, as we stated before- pricing will be such so that the Nevada Jacks, Acehighsupplies, etc who have alot invested in this business dont loose their companies to China... and the people who take it upon themselves to arrange group buys in order to reduce costs are also satisfied without the threat of taking all business away from others here in the USA.
Going to China will have it's place, and so will other suppliers.
Thanks
Joe

And it's just timing and coincidence that this all happens around the same time as the SFC threads were coming to the surface around here and
there was a great level of interest in this mfg?
How is all of a sudden that you (rather Palm Imports, I'm sure you are a very nice guy)
How is that all of a sudden that Palm Imports, who had.... at best a shady reputation around here now is in the spotlight of being the hero to save the day?
And what is all this "volume" you speak of?
Surely not poker chips.
blah blah blah.....
