I will listen to whatever deal memebrs feel is FAIR to them. Keep in mind Sun will not make chips for 20 cents- their decision not mine- but with that said- I think if everyone can agree what a fair price would be-- what they would like to see for a group buy price- I think everyone can be happy.
Assuming all goes ok with our paid forum-- I am still unclear how that works but we sent in our financial support anyways to Greg- this can be discussed where it seems is the proper place to discuss it-- in a paid forum.

Joe | Why do you keep dodging my question, please respond.

Here's part of the last email I sent to you-
"So, Sun Fly will handle this order-- we are their US distributor so artwork/orders all come to us then are resent to them
They dont want to deal with doing artwork so we give them everything READY TO PRINT
Joe"
The reason artwork is sent to them is so it's ready for print, in a format they want, and the job will look good. They are not graphics people, they are printers. Part of our involvement as I explained to you was to make sure when you send them artwork it will look good.
I offered to prototype your chips HERE so you could get an idea how they would look based on your artwork... but made it clear " Sun FLy will handle your order".
This was offered to you at no cost to you- only as a courtesy.
If I confused you I apologize.

Joe | But do you still think these chips suck or are you going to back peddle on that statement too?

Chips: 3,424 | | | Re: Bellagio Replica Mock-Ups We can count on your to have a great excuse for your current fumble. Time and time again.
Your hand has been caught in the cookie jar a few too many times. I always want to give you the benefit of the doubt, but then there is the next fiasco.
Yes, SFC doesn't want to deal with artwork. And, no, they don't want to deal with orders under 5K pieces. They want a final image, quantity, and payment. A week or two later you get your chips. ALL OF WHICH they make that pretty clear when you open the discussion with them via email or telephone.
Here is what kills me.....
How it is that you pop up out of the bottom of the bucket and attempt to groom yourself as the "hero" through this SFC debate which started some time back, is beyond me.
There are so many points in your reply that have blatant holes in them, I just shake my head.
So, let's move on....
Fair price?
Well, we know what they were selling them for before the "interest spark" in them was heightened.
We know what they were prior to your background "distributor" agreement started (regardless of which happened first).
We know what they cost to ship and what landed costs are. (Fed ex, China, 1'X1'X1' box, roughly 60 pounds, etc) ((as well what people have been quoted from months back))
We know what they are currently.
So, my proposal for the price of them to CT members would be about .22 cents for qty's over 5K. OR... 3% over DOCUMENTED costs through the distributor... Whichever is less.
That's what I think is fair.
Thanks for playing. |

Chips: 64 | | | Re: Bellagio Replica Mock-Ups Basically, you serve no purpose at all. Which, by the way, is fine for the ingnorant ones; however, we know better. You are a facilitator who is not needed for this potential GB. We are capable of handling the evolution of this design all the way through to production by ourselves. We don't need you. Sun Fly even told me that we DO NOT have to go through you, but we know that you'll want to put you dirty fingers all over it (mark-up).
If you hadn't already noticed by now, I've had samples made WITHOUT any help from you (the whole reason this thread blew up in the first place). So, do us a favor and stay of our way. |

I would say we're not far off in pricing for a group buy -- I think a one time group buy for a good price would be very fair in lieu of what has happened. Not sure .22 would fly-- but I bet close to it---real close to it--
Would this be something you want me to discuss?

How will these be paid for? Is someone going to front the initial charge and collect payments for them?
Sounds to me like PI could be a valuable asset in a group buy with SunFly. Of course, one can't expect someone to sort through 20,000+ chips and mail them all out for free.... | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
