You have to take note that ASM labels are fairly small, so not alot of detail will work on that small of a scale (ASM inlays have a printable area of about 3/4") ... in general, simpler designs will work out much better.
I advise you to design your label at actual scale, and then when you think it's about done,
MAKE A TEST PRINT to see how it will look and based on the test print you make, judge for yourself whether it will look good (if text is readable, how images may look, the over all appearance, etc.) and
THEN make adjustments to the design based on the print out ... and then print more test prints ("hard copy") of any updated designs (if necessary) until you're happy with the appearance.
