Chips: 272 | | | My First Inlay "pretty bad" Well I am not all that artistically inlcined and trying to use photo shop is insane asI tried to make my first inlay.
My thought was text naming the ficticious tour "Niantic Poker Tour" where I live and then along the bottom of the inlay something along th lines
"In Fine Garages & Basements Across Town"
I couldn't find an image of a house and then the amount superimposed over it. instead here is what a couple of hours turn out.
Also and wow I am pulling a big brain fart here how and the heck do you post a screen shot from the chip forge into here??? |

To post from Chip factory, you use the Print Screen key, then open a new file in Photoshop and paste it. Then put that image in imageshack to post.
Arcing text is not great in Photoshop, if you give me the font you used (and I have it on my computer) I can make the text part in Illustrator and e-mail you that.

Chips: 2,456 | | | Re: My First Inlay "pretty bad" Where did you get the cartoon? If you pulled it off the web, the graphics are probably not sharp enough.
Also, I hope you are using different layers for your graphic elements - the inlay circle, graphic and text...

Chips: 272 | | | Re: My First Inlay "pretty bad" The graphic was on a clip art disk I have and as I have said before I am not graphically inclined whatsoever LOL, and I am as some folks would say here muddling my way through.
The font I used By the way is Rockwell Extra Bold is what it says at least.
Thanks for the input and I may have to enlarge it to sharpen it a little more |

Use the magic wand to get rid of the white. Then just size it by Edit > Transform > Scale. Hold down shift and drag the corners. The words might be too big, let me know and I'll adjust.
