Chips: 264 | | | What do most of you use ? I have a quick question what do most of the members use to "create" the inlays for their custom chips if your not paying for the artwork yourself.
I have an idea that I would like to try and play around with a little bit but I am severly graphically inclined, my idea is using my home town and creating a ficticious (sp) poker tour. I would like to put together an example and see how it looks on a mock-up, but I want to try this myself, to see if I have any artistic hope.
Thanks for all the help and great reading as of late fellow Chiptalkers |

Actually i had Adobe Illustrator for my chips (not the one above) and photoshop is easier to use IMO.

Chips: 2,923 | | | Re: What do most of you use ? I try to use Illustrator whenever possible, simply because it is resolution independant and all text and lines will stay sharp and clean. It is also MUCH easier to measure or change objects (text size, line widths, etc.) as inlays are pretty small.
Of course you can't edit a photo in Illustrator, so those are handled (sized, cropped, color balanced) in Photoshop, and then placed as objects into Illustrator. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
