Talking New ASM Set Design - Opinions on Inlay First Draft?

I'm finally (like so many others) breaking down and getting a custom set of chips, thrilled with all the new options that ASM is making available to us. I've done a quick first draft of an inlay design and was looking for some opinions:

I'm definitely not happy with the font, so that's going to change for sure. The graphic is an old 45 record insert for those of you under 30.

I'm obviously open to comments on the edge spots and the progression there (my idea is that the values will rise from left to right, even though I'm not putting denoms on them). However those are far from final too.

Comments?

I like them all, but the RED and the GREEN chips are awesome -- nice work -- darn, I've got to get going on mine! Nice work.

Re: New ASM Set Design - Opinions on Inlay First Draft?

I like it ... the ONLY thing I can say is that the text is upside down, depending on which view you look at it ... but can I assume that you maybe just don't know how to make it rightside up just yet? ... Maybe you want to try to give the symbol in the center a bit of a thicker black outline to see how it looks, it might look better, you might like it.

Otherwise I think the inlay looks good hitman.

OK what do you call that little yellow plastic thing that lets you play a 45 RPM record on a narrow spindle?

For you young whippersnappers, that's what the design on the chips is.

Great inlay! Love the Simple Graphic. Once again an example of how simple is best when it comes to the inlay. I would also suggest flipping the upside down text at the bottom.

1. Flip your "pokerroom" so people will not read it as "pokerrom Scott's".

2. Increase the size of "Scotts" or decrease the size of "pokerroom"

I knew what it was and recognized it right away, but I have no idea what that thing is called... (I just noticed that it was actually mentioned in the post what it was, didn't see that first, heheh)

Pretty nice design, I'm a fan of a clean and simple inlay. I think the text might look better if it's all the same way though, not being upside down on the bottom. I think a 314 might look better than 312 on the red chip, I'm not a big fan of the 1/2" spots now that we can get other variations. 412 is kind of ugly too, not that you have one there, but 4A12 isn't so bad. I'll probably be getting one of those myself. Another option could be to go 3D14-4A14-4A12 on the first three chips. Black/Yellow looks good on a red chip, hachkc has one in his set, and I'm getting one in mine (mandarin red for me). Of course, then the red and purple chips would have very similar spots. Maybe have arc yellow and dg pink.

Just throwing out ideas, the chips are going to look great, regardless It's just fun to mess around with the Chip Forge and Chip Factory.
