My inlay design is it any good? possible ASM

I am thinking of buying some ASM custom chips now that they have opened up more edge spot options what do you think of the inlay?

Thanks

I think using different fonts throughout the chip would look more professional, like using a different font for the EST IN and the city name, and also perhaps using a bolder font for the name across the top. The layout is good though.

I think it looks nice. The script-type font gives it a casual look.

I'm not much of an artist, but I know what I like. Nothing on this chip stands out to me as "needing" to be fixed or changed.

When designing an INLAY, you should use 2-3 fonts. NO MORE NO LESS. Usually u use 1 for the title, 1 for subtitle (dallas, texas) and 1 for denoms. I really recommend taking out any cards and suites. Inlays with them tend to look like there something that are mass produced for the general public.

I concure.

The 'laid back' casual look...looks great. Your smaller font size might be too small. Make sure that your text can be read at actual size. I would also change the color of the denomination to red. I've noticed that most two color type artwork showcases the denom in color. But thats just me.

That's a good looking design! I would probably stick with just the one font in this instance. When you take a font that is that casual, it's really hard to find one that will work well with it and not against it. And you managed to find a scripty font that works on a curve, so you're ahead of the game. Adding more fonts will just muddy up the design. The only thing I might consider changing is the size of the denomination so that it's a little larger.

Thats a great looking design, love the font. I would maybe shadow the cards and place the denomination right over it..

FYI - one of the popular underground joints in the city (before it got shut down twice this year) was called the "All-In" Club. Just curious if you making these as a spin-off? Either way, I think they look good. I would change the fonts of the location and denomination to something easier to read though...

I just came up with the idea. Nice to know that there is a real club named that. Thanks

Very nice. Normally I don't like inlays with a "fan of cards", but in this "hand-drawn" style, it looks very nice.

I think especially the small text is too small. The other text might be too small too.

In my opinion, the denomination shold be readable from any player's position when the chip is in the middle of the table at the same lighting conditions as when you are playing. Less important text should be readable when the chip is on the table in front of you while you are sitting down.

Try printing the inlay out in actual size and see if that's possible.

I suggest you use a red denomination as it will make it stand out better from the rest. It would also match the red pips on the cards.

If you use this font, I don't think you should mix it with other fonts. The point is making it look hand-drawn - so use the same font for all text.

TT
