I was quite surprised to stumble upon this site for a chinese chip manufacturer, with the Tikis listed as a custom order from them. I thought these were made in the US?

Looks like they manufactured the tikis as it says custom sample for client.

On a side note, these are ceramics at .20 per with no setup fees. Holy cow that's cheap. Of course minimum amount is 5000 chips but still.

I was under the assumption that Acehighsupply (the original tiki manufacturer) had their own mold (the BR Pro) and made the blanks themselves (given how many revisions they've made). If this isn't the case, color me shocked heh. Guess i'll ask lynbark next time i talk to him.

is that price for blanks or for fully printed chips?

If I'm not mistaken, I think that the insane $0.20 per chip price is for the printed version. If this is the case then some people shoould pool together to buy some samples to see if these puppies are any good, then if they are, on to the grouop buy!! Wow is all I can say if these are actually real

I do alot of business in China. I've fired off a couple of messages to business associates in China to see if they have any information about this company.

group buy?....yes please....and help me with the concept of a GB...if we did this could i get my own personal chips or would i get what every one else is getting i have a sweet idea for my chips.....just curious.

You'd only get your own personal chips if you could meet the minimum w/ whoever is manufacturing the chips. In this case you'd need people to like your design enough to order 5,000 total chips. To which i say good luck with that, that's alot of chips. At .20c a chip though it's not impossible by any means.

The price will be somewhat higher than the $0.20, as you'll have to add both shipping from China and import taxes/VAT, but it should still be a pretty decent price per chip, when you get to the bottomline.
