I am in the TODDLER stages of my POKERCHIPS.COM purchase. I have received prelim's back from the GRAPHIC DESIGNER. We are currently working back in forth on the specific details. I do have a couple questions for you. These are for both my cash game and tournaments. I cannot afford 74 sets like the others here

1) I am making one NCV chip for my cash games and my tournaments without edgespots. Good idea or not?
2) I really like the horseheads but the more I see the H-MOLDs I lean towards those. I do like the old school looking chips.
3) 3D14 for my $1 thru $500 and regular 312 for my $1k and $5k. Good idea to seperate the HIGH $$ DENOMS like that?
4) Ideas or pictures for DENOM graphics. Any suggestions?

I know these are my babies and that I want them to be my own (original). I am just looking for the "EXPERTS" opinions because that will help raise the eyebrows of the people I play with when they see the chips.

I would make higher denoms using the 3D14.. It would be less likely that someone could slip these into your game. And if by chance they were able to slip a similar looking chip in it would only be a lower denom.

Definately go with H mold... The more I see it the more I like it

I would combine the spots among the two sets. Ex. If your cash set is .25, $1 and $5, make the .25 solid, $1 312, and $5 3D14. Then you could do the same with the tourney set.

I figure both wont be in play at the same time, so you might as well have a good spot progression in both sets.

I think I should just make them all except the NVC 3d14.

Has ASM actually allowed 3D14 purchases again? The deal they did here for those closed months ago.

Uh.......I think that was a typo.

312 on all the chips. That was what I was wishing I could do. Scratch that line.

Ah, ok. Yeah you want the more complex chips as higher denoms, so they really stand out from the others when they are in the pot.

It may well be the wrong forum but before I forget, I asked pc.com about 3D14 chips recently and was told I could have them, but at $1.35 per.

I also think if you are a registered chiptalk.net member you can get them for $1.25 per.
