I would avoid these guys. A couple years ago, I had a bad experience with them just trying to get some samples. The short version of this story is that I ordered two sample sets from them, and while my credit card was charged pretty much immediately, it took about 8 weeks for two sample chips --- not two sample sets, but two sample chips --- to arrive. Complaints were not acknowledged, and I never could get them on the phone.
My impression both from this experience and some of the statements on the website indicates that this company is just a couple jokers doing chips as a sideline for their real business, whatever that is. If you want Chipcos, consider homepokerchips.com instead.

I would suggest talking to others before making a decision based one persons experience and another's comments about how their site looks. |

If you check back through through the Texas Hold 'Em Poker site (and 2+2 I think) you can find some discussion of them. IIRC for everyone one person who has even able to get a response there are several who had bad or no communication.
Most folks I've heard have had good experience with homepokerchips.com It's the same chips (ChipCo) but the customer service seems at a higher level.
YMMV |

But, just in case: tri-lam, I'm just one guy! The opinions and experiences of others may vary substantially from mine! Good luck to you sir!
cheers

I ordered my custom Chipcos through them a couple years ago and had a terrible experience. I spoke with Chipco a while back and they told me thechipstore was no longer a vendor of theirs.
I'm sure I've posted my experience with them (aka Dan H) plenty of times in the past, so I wont go into details again.
Hey tri-lam, you still haven't had those chips made yet??! What's up with that? |
