I bought a 650 pc set as a first step to get my feet wet. Theyre great chips. thinking of wrighting a review,,,,wondering if anyone else has played with these?

I have played with them a few times and never thought they were that bad. I liked the look and feel of them and thought they were better than most of the other plastic chips on the market; however, their weight is a killer if you try to move any quantity of them in a case.

30 lbs for me. I think these are the best starter chips you can get. I like em better that faux clays and just as much as nexgens. The colors are outstanding.

for the price, they are decent...but I think a nice labeled set of nexgens are much better.

I for one would like to see your review. My first real set of chips was the Tri-Color 12-Stripe "Real Clays" also weighing in at 14 g.

I thought these were the best-ever until I ordered samples of higher-end chips. Still nice chips, but now the weight seems very heavy after using 10-g chips. I suspect mine are of similar quality/feel to what you have. I'd say my chips are a small step below Nexgens or 13-g Pro Clays, but much better than standard dice chips you see everywhere.

I like nexgens too, especially lucky bees....but,,,nexgens look best when labled...i think these look better than nexgens stand alone,,,IMO.
