It's a reference to outlaw motorcycles clubs. At one point there was a media report that stated 99% of all bikers are law-abiding citizens, the other 1% not so much. The hardcore bikers took it to heart and you'll often see Hell's Angels, Bandidos, etc... with lots of colors and patches, one of which usually includes "1%".

Cool looking chips...almost want to see the denomination wrapped into the skull more, maybe on a bandana or something like that.

Correct explanation on the biker info. However I thought it would be cool with the design and have a dual meaning of like 1% chance of making your hand etc...

I like how the skulls are tinted to match the chip color. I would like to see the "flames" a little more defined above the eyes.

The background reminds me a little of spokes on a wheel given the 1%. Maybe the chip can be made more like a wheel?

At first I didn't like the boxes around the text but looking at it again it does make it look like a biker vest.

Looks like a good start but I think your denoms are way too small and don't really care for the border behind the text... really more with the 1% & the denom.

I agree with Fins...you're going to have to make the critical components (Logo, Denom, 1% & labels) BIGGER otherwise they won't pass the "arms-reach" visual test. I like the theme and logo but (as mentioned by others) use some more color to distinguish the elements and lose the background boxes around the denom's

Great start...we're all critics 'cause we want you to have chips you'll be happy with and speaking from experience, you really need to put your design in real-world scale before settling on the design.
