Need help with chip design

Due to a number of personal developments, not the least of which being a new child, Grath has had to step down from helping further the design process of the Black Sands chips for the group buy I am leading. As such I need a partner in completing their design. All I need is one design: the custom mold. I already have an idea in mind but lack the technical proficientcy to design it.

If you are willing to spend a little time to help out, we would greatly appreciate it. I really don't think it will take too much time from anyone that volunteers.

Thank you!

Re: Need help with chip design

You can see the Black Sands inlay in the group buy thread. For the mold I'm looking for essentially a simlar house mold as the old and great Sands and Dunes chips. So basically the Black Sands name encirlcling the inlay & facing outwards. That's the rough idea top move along.

Get her going!

What font is the Black Sands from the chip? Also, got a picture of the chips you want to emulate?

I don't know what chips or what the specs are but here's at least something for discussion...

Great start, Thanks Fins! A few tweaks:

1) reverse the text so it faces away from the inlay
2) shrink the text so you can fit Black Sands onthere three times rather than two
3) can the text be "un-bolded", if that makes sense?
4) something other than a palm tree as a seperator between the words... dunno... a wave, "the turtles", or the same diamond shape that separates "palmetto Bay, St. Kitts" on the inlay ring
5) mock up with two concentric circles, and another with only one CC (the inner one)

It's not text so changing it means redoing it... 4 & 5 aren't a big deal.

1, 2 & 4 would have been nice to share up front

Might want to provide some specs e.g. useable area, minimum "thickness" if applicable, format needed etc...

Edit... here's 3 w/ a diamond seperator & no outer conc. circle (the inner's probaly too light but it's there)... at least it might tell you if you like the look...
