I thought a 1930s themed tourney would be great with themed chips and was playing around and made these. Thought those who played could dress in 30s era glothing and have tommy guns and such.
Why would you dress up like in the 30s play with chips that don't even look close to how chips looked in the 30s? TT
With todays technology the idea is to have a very good looking set of chips based on an idea to have fun dressing up. To continue the idea of the theme revolve the setting around a Prohibition Speakeasy with the women dressed as flappers and men in longsleve shirts rolled up and arm bands. Nice hats and such.
I want to go all yelten on this thread, but I'll resist the temptation for now...
I am new to poker chips so I am not sure the best source/provider of the chips would be. By all means provide feedback if you think another provider would do a better job.
Well both ASM and TRK have been making chips since then so that fits. I would try to emulate the graphics of older chips, it would probably have a much better feel.

I agree whole heartedly. Go with a graphic instead of a pic also I would use an older mold instead of the HH.
I think your theme is great. THe mold you are using fits well. Just use non-vibrant colors for the base and edgespots. The text u use also has great impact on the overal theme. Use something that looks old fashion and classy
Poker chips in the 30's didn't use edge spots yet, and certainly not colorful inlay graphics either ... but I see what you're going for with the the whole theme (and dressing up and all) ... sounds fun.
