Custom Inlay Opinions

Let me know what you think...

I know many Ct'ers love edgespots, but I decided to go without them to save some money and have a cleaner looking presentation. The inlay was also designed to be very simple. Hopefully Dennis @ TRKing will be able to create this look. Design subject to Wife's Approval! Thanks to ToddWDraper for his inlay help!

Nice design. I like the no edge spot look, but you should consider that the $100 and $500 may look very similar when stacked together.

Looks great! I love the color of the $500 chip. Purple is my fav. TR King color.

Looks great....and I think the solids have a classy, clean look to them. I'd kinda like to see the "Bull Moose" text arched along the top and the denom centered. That might allow you to make the watermark a bit more apparent as well.

Re: Custom Inlay Opinions

With the $100 and $500 looking so similar in a room with low light, what chip should I change to make sure there is a noticeably difference between the two? What color should I use?

Thanks for your opinions! It really does help

I had this exact same problem with my ASM "American Eagle" chips, since they had the same edge-spot color.

When I ordered my latest set, I decided to make two changes to the $500 chip: (1) instead of purple, the base color is lavender, which is much more distinctive (and still a Las Vegas-style color for $500 chips); and (2) get different edge spots from the $100 chip.

Although you said you're not getting edge spots in order to save money, here's a thought: why not get edge spots only on the $500 and $1000 chips, since you're probably getting fewer of these chips anyway? The extra cost of getting these chips with edge spots may not be so bad, and they'll be much more distinctive from the lower-denomination chips.
