Exclamation BR Pro Design Review Opinions Wanted

Hey guys, I am getting ready to buy a "cash set" of BR Pro's from Lynbark and I have a couple of designs versions for everyone to weigh in on.

I'd really like people to be honest and pick out their favorite 4 chips from either group. Please reply with the choices by saying A25 or B100, or C1 and so on for your selection of the 4 chips appeal to you most.

There are really only subtle differences except for the letter coloring on the first two. The third was an early draft just to show the progression of design.

I already have a large set of ChipCo's that will be relegated to Tourney Use after I get this set, but I want the chips to compliment eachother without the ability to "mix"

Feel free to comment and make suggestions and even criticizms

EDIT 2/7 "C" Group removed.... no longer considered. Please go to the "2 sided" versions later in the thread.

The Chips have evolved considerably since the thread was started.

Thanks,

Capstone

i like the first red x better than the other two red x's. that just my preference, though.

Re: BR Pro Design Review Opinions Wanted

Personally I like the $100 from group one and the $1 from group two because of the higher constrasts. The $5 and $25 I could go either way. Have you tried purple lettering on the first $25 to match the edge spots? Are the denom colors going to stay yellow if the other text color changes? Just my thoughts.

Re: BR Pro Design Review Opinions Wanted

What happens when you give a kid $20 to spend in a candy store....
... 3 hours of decisions and the 24 hours with a stomach ache...

That's where I am with this. I keep nudging, shifting, coloring...It's driving me crazy.

I am going to go with a 2 sided solution because frankly, I want a Huge Castle and a huge "The Capstone Club" too...

Here's a taste.

Please keep the comments coming

Phil

I like the way the words arc in the third pic. Also after playing with blue $1's, I am now in the white $1 side.

I like C100(3rd one) for the $100 chip. The black and yellow combo just appeals to me more . I also like A25 for the $25 chip, I really like the demonination printed along the edges.

I think A1 is perfect. Great looking chip.
I like all the A chips the best.

Re: BR Pro Design Review Opinions Wanted

Here's the Two-Sided versions that I mentioned. Let me know how you like them. Don't forget to click the image for a full size look once you get to Imageshack.

I used an odd green/neon-green and black/pink combo because I don't want there to be any confusion between the two sets of Ceramic' chips that I have.
I don't have White or Red chips so the edgespot combos don't clash with my existing set.

Again, please let me know what you think.

Re: BR Pro Design Review Opinions Wanted

RE the 1st lot of pics you posted... i dont like anything about the 3rd set. I think the first 2 sets are fantastic and its a coin toss either way. I'd be happy with either one.
An idea on the design of the castle, it looks a lil squashed. One the first 3 sets you had it overlapping the colored band around the edge of the chip. Why not try having that colored band over the edge of the castle. That way you can strectch it out a bit more and have some "underlap".

RE the 2nd set of pics, i think the text, pool hall, lounge, etc etc makes it look too busy.
The colors are great.
