I like the one-sided design better and of those 2,1,3 in decending order. I will be very interested to see how these chips compare (in your opinion) to your original set. They were chipcos, right?

I have generally been disappointed with the NJ and BRPro ceramics compared to my chipcos. Not everybody agrees with me and that's cool, maybe I'm just rationalizing the extra cost of the chipcos.

Yeah..the first set I have are ChipCo's . Cost is a big factor here and since the design fee is included (I've been doing all the design pretty much myself) with such a reasonble price, I have to ask what about the BR's you felt wasn't as good?.."feel" "graphic quality" "weight" I've seen the NJ and I can tell right away that the graphics are sub-par IMO.

Feel and (especially) graphic quality. The rougher texture lowers the graphic quality, and the feel of the chips, especially at the edges, just doesn't approach the feel of the chipcos, IMO. They are only 60-70% of the cost, so there you have it. It I were buying them, I would go with a much simpler design than yours given what I percieve as the weakness of the chip.

Everybody has their bias, and was really disappointed with the Tikki denoms (which are the only BRPro's I have handled) and with the American Beauties. Lots of people love them though. I really am not trying to talk you in to or out of anything. Just, when you get them, let us know what you think, and how YOU think they compare with your chipcos.

Boy am I groggy...way past my bedtime, but when the brain is still coming up with ideas, I can't sleep. My wife will never understand...

Okay... round 3. I've read the comments and suggestions.

#1. I am going to limit the "fancy" chip to just the $100...that way when someone actually has one, it will mean something. Most casinos put a little more time into their higher denom chips and I want to make my $100 a special chip too.

#2. I went back to the wider castle...I kept looking at my old chips and noticing how out of proportion the new design looked.

#3. I made the lettering on the $1 and $5 bigger and thickened the inner ring to match the $25 and $100

#4. I dropped the extra stuff on the $25 and added the purple highlighting to the edgespots

Here they are...

And Finally...the Ultra Special $100

I made the lettering bigger and tightened it up to the inner ring more (after hearing that the outer edge graphics aren't as good) and widened the castle (dropping the 2 "one hundreds"

I think I am going to press with this set. But I would still like to hear comments and suggestions

300 Whites,
200 Reds
150 Green
50 Black

Nice chips! The colors are great.
$1: perfect
$5: perfect
$25: 'TWENTY-FIVE' is missing

$100: IMHO, the lettering is too close to purple ring

Thanks for the compiments and suggestions... I just got word that production is being delayed because AceHigh has recently changed to a different "blank" chip.

"The improvements will make the chips stack much better, the image look crisper, and the edges not as "sharp". We have been able to make test chips and they are working great."

I will have to wait an extra 2 weeks but I am excited to be one of the first to get these new chips. Pic's will definitely be posted along with an extensive comparison to my ChipCo's and the current chips from BR Pro.
