Chips: 65 | | | Oasis Club -Custom hot stamped TR Kings Well, I've started the ball rolling on my hot stamped chips. I just sent my AI fle to Dennis for approval. I'm ordering 700 chips in bright colors to create a tourney set. This will be a non denom set on solid colored chips. If anyone likes this I'm willing to purchase more chips if anyone is interested.

Chips: 65 | | | Re: Oasis Club -Custom hot stamped TR Kings I don't care what colors, whatever there are to offer(within reason, one chip of a color probably not appreciated). It says that you can do just about any colors as long as the total order is over a few hundred chips. I've got Dennis pricing these out for me, it depends on the number of chips. The hotstamp is $100 and each chip is either .55 or .60 (solid colors, $1 for stock edge spots+ defrayed hot stamp cost).
I'm looking to get 240 White, 240 Fire, 140 signal green(or yellow) and 80 Light Blue or light turquise.
Not bad pricing for real clay custom chips, if I get a preliminary number I can get it priced out. Shipping is extra of course, but could be actual shipping with a small amount or handling.

gb???? | I know typically denoms on the other side add .05+ per chip. I'd prefer not to go GB because I'm not changing much. Once Dennis lets me know if the hotstamp is cool I'll pay for it to be made then have samples run. At that point these are ready to rock, I take orders via paypal or whatever and the chips are ordered. I've seen how other GB have happened and they seem to grind to a halt, I want this expedited. I want the chips to me within 6 weeks from monday, whomever is intersted and ready to go can get in for next to cost (plus shipping out from me). I'm not looking to make money off this, I just wanted classic looking chips and thought I'd let some folks into it. I didn't want this to turn into 150,000 chips. I want it to be limited to a few, I will have to find out if the hot stamp is my property since I'm paying for it. If there are any future additions I can handle them (I'll be up front and say I'd probably charge an extra .05-.10 for future buys just to keep it at a minimum, I don't want to go into selling chips as a business)
To set anyone at ease, one of the Mods here Matthew is a neighbor of mine in town and we play in a weekly game together. He knows where I live and will probably let you know that I'm trustworthy.
I don't want this to turn into a huge debate like many of the other group buys have become. The hotstamp is set in stone and there are no edge spots to configure (you can pick stock edge spots, but it will cost you more as I stated earlier) the only thing are the chip colors, and that is pretty oopen as long as there's a minimum.
The following is from the TR King site solid color chips- this applies to custom hot stamps as well- Quote:
Prices - 55 cents each
This price includes up to three initials on both sides of the chip.
60 cents each - for a denomination on one side, with initials on other side.
Minimum Order - 100 chips
Mixed how you like.
| Remember this pricing does not include the custom hot stamp price ($100) and shipping from TR King, but my 700 chips by myself will cost about $500 and small change. More people and the cost per chip goes down as the hotstamp cost is defrayed to all chips.

when you get the samples post a pic, and hopefully my sale will have gone thru by then...

Chips: 65 | | | Re: Oasis Club -Custom hot stamped TR Kings Just to let everyone see some examples, Jello broom over at HPT forums just had a set done by Dennis (this is what set me off and running after seeing these chips). He posted these scans a few weeks ago. Gives you an idea what these chips can look like.
I'm hoping these chips can come in at under .70 a piece total, if there are 5000 chips the cost should be around .62-.65 per chip.

99 - when you get these we will have the stamped TR Kings, casino Paulsons, Pharaoh's and American Beauties to play with. Pretty soon we will have to go to more than a weekly game to use all the fine chips.....
