ASM GB: Opinions on colors and inlay

$25, $100, $500, $1000, $5000.

I decided at the last minute to get in on the ASM GB, so I kind of rushed my color choices. I have been playing around with the inlay for a while. I also have a white version of the background, but I think I like the black one better.

Comments, especially from you artsy-fartsy types out there (and you know who you are) ?

I like the inlay...real solid and simple. I'm not in love with your color choices but that's just me. Post a pic of the white inlay too, please.

What is the combo on that green chip?

With this insert, I would try to match the denom color to the chip base color.

Nice looking inlay. I like the GB green chip better than the standard green/green 312 you are using now. The green will be the work horse of your set, so no reason not to make it look great...

I would use it, but the colors just don't work well for me.

Now, one last time, and I know everybody is getting tired of all these "help me with my ASM" threads:

White vs Black insert (or both, but I think that's too much)?

Do you like the white/orange spotted yellow chip better than the white/chocolate?

L

PS You may notice that I am playing with molds as well, but I have just about decided to go with the H instead of Roman.

Re: ASM GB: Opinions on colors and inlay

absolutely! White/Orange better IMO. Also, I don't like the green green chip. Its out of place when the rest all have highly contrasting spots. Its almost like its from a different set.

Other than the brown chip, I think they look terrific. I'm looking forward to seeing a full mock up

I kind of like the green chip. It is understated and it has the 312 pattern, so I have all of the available patterns in my set. But that's two votes against, so I will look at other options.

My daughter doesn't like the chocolate chip either. Again, I think the brown chip is nice. There aren't alot of other choices for the $5K. I suppose the gray 214 with purple would work.
